FCE fourth graders play scoot and practice rounding while learning fun number facts about US states.
Lately, Mrs. McLendon's junior English students have reviewed parts of speech with a fun game of Grammar Charades. They had to act out nouns, verbs, and prepositions.. They also participated in a scavenger hunt. They are working hard on developing ACT skills each day. #CCHS
Attendance notifications will start soon for Choctaw County! This is part of the requirement for the new SB2103.

6th graders at FCE chomped their way through the bubble gum unit rate activity today.
Third graders are learning how to multiply using equal groups.
Food webs brought to you by FCE 5th graders! The students used various organisms from a woods ecosystem to create food webs. The challenge was to use at least 12 organisms in their webs. They met the challenge with some groups including several more than 12 organisms!
FCE Kindergarteners enjoyed rotating centers in library today. The new audio reader sets were a big hit!
We had creativity in spades today in FCE’s 1st grade as we built a birdhouse, 2 houses with hot tubs, a house for a person, a spaceship home, a dreamworld, a spaceship, a rainbow spinning top, a Minecraft world, and a light saber!
Coach Gardner's history classes this week have been working on latitude and longitude. They participated in a latitude and longitude scavenger hunt around the school. #CCHS
5th graders at FCE enjoyed using their expanded form skills in place value dominoes.
FCE kindergarten has been learning all about reptiles this week. Today they enjoyed a visit from Mrs. Jackie with the MS Museum of Natural Science.
