Mr. Loggins is teaching about soil horizons in his Concepts of Ag classes. Students got to put their own spin on viewing the different soil horizons. They worked in groups to create soil horizon diagrams that are displayed in the hallway outside their classroom.

Health science students haVe been studying the cardiovascular system. Today, they were studying heart anatomy and systemic blood circulation.

Students in Culinary Arts I are learning all about grain cookery. They practiced making grits and oatmeal as well as a variety of rice dishes. Rice dishes incorporated a variety of rices like Arborio, basmati, and long-grain in dishes like Risotto, Pilaf, Chinese Fried Rice, and Red Beans & Rice.
