Health Science Core students had a fun time searching for bacteria within the school building. Students sampled various objects and surfaces to see what microorganisms might be present. We’ll see their findings after allowing the petri dishes to incubate for a few days.

Advocates for Children Chairman, Ashley Williams, partnered with club member Tinker Forrester and Mrs. Kelsey and Mrs. Joni’s classes at Ackerman Elementary School for an Art Class. Tinker led the class and taught the children about water color, painting from your heart and expressing your feelings with the brush as you put your painting on paper. After painting students enjoyed the many books and sensory toys offered for children at the Choctaw County Library. They finished with a pizza lunch furnished by club members. The kids and teachers enjoyed the day and would like to say thank you to Mrs. Forrester and the Ackerman Civic League for a great day. #teamAES
