Mrs. Halford's 5th graders at Ackerman Elementary School are working on the cost of items. They used a Kroger Ad to determine the prices of different items based on the ad prices. Great job! #teamAES

Mr. Black's Construction classes are working on building hunting houses. They are doing a great job!!


Ag Power and Machinery classes are working on various projects.

The Healthcare and Clinical Services students completed their American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR and First Aid certifications. A huge thanks to Ms. Monica Potts, LPN, for providing both AHA certifications to the students. They did a great job!




Mrs. Johnson, Choctaw County HS Career Coach, invited Ms. Taylor with Skills that Pay to speak to Juniors and Seniors. Ms. Taylor told the students about different career paths that involved a skill and the ways to investigate these opportunities.

CCCTC and Gentiva Hospice are partnering together to collect canned food/non-perishable food items for the local food pantry. The canned food drive will go through September 30. Any donations can be dropped off at the Choctaw Career and Technology Center between 8-3:00 pm.

FCE Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade enjoyed hosting "Donuts with Grownups!"
FCE second graders enjoyed traveling to Main Street in Ackerman to view the Homecoming Parade. They got to see and cheer everyone on and had a great time!
