Students in Mrs. Chamblee’s 6th grade class at Ackerman Elementary School are working on making inferences. Students are having to use clues to infer what item is in the box without seeing it.

Mrs. Lisa’s and Mrs. Margie’s PreK students at Ackerman Elementary School concluded their unit study on forest animals by discussing groundhogs. They learned what groundhogs eat, where they live, and some information about Groundhog’s Day.



5th graders in Mrs. Hollis’ class at Ackerman Elementary School are working on graphing by learning about origins, axis, and plotting points.




Centers were on the agenda for 1st graders in Mrs. Toombs and Mrs. Lewis’ room at Ackerman Elementary School. Keep working hard!





Branae Spencer, a 4th grader at Ackerman Elementary School, used her Charger Bucks to buy a morning duty worker pass. She did an excellent job monitoring halls on Tuesday morning! Great job Branae!
