Ackerman Elementary School has new water bottle filling stations. In addition, the school has purchased water bottles for all the students and staff! #teamAES
Cross Country practice will begin on Wednesday, August 12th immediately after school. All those who plan to participate need to be prepared to run on that day. Make sure that you have a current physical on file with the school before you practice.
Ackerman Elementary School Parents!
Students will have one of three tags this year for dismissal.
1) Bus Rider Tag - Will be placed on the student’s backpack with their bus number written on it.
2) After School Tag - Will be placed on the student’s backpack with their name written on it.
3) Car Rider Tag - Should be placed on the review mirror inside the vehicle that will be picking them up. This will allow for a smoother pickup in the evenings.
**If you missed getting a car rider tag at Open House, please stop by the school anytime from 8-3 to pick one up. This will help make for a smooth first day dismissal. #teamAES

New hand sanitizing stations have arrived at Ackerman Elementary School! We are adding 15 new stations! We can’t wait to get these installed around campus for our students. #teamAES
In-person open house for Pre-K and NEW Kindergarten students will be on Monday, August 10th. The school will call parents/guardians to set-up an appointment.
As we start the school year and make preparations for school safety, we are glad to see our supply orders being filled. This week Weir Elementary School has received protective equipment for staff, teachers, and students.
Virtual Open House will be posted on August 10th for grades Kindergarten to 6th grade. A link will be provided on WES webpage or WES app and WES Facebook
CCHS will open late on August 10th from 3 pm to 6 pm to allow students to pick up schedules and to ask questions. We will be set up in the new office. We ask that you wear a mask when you enter the building and practice social distancing.

Ackerman Elementary School had an amazing turnout tonight for Open House. Our last night of Open House is tomorrow (Thursday) for 6th grade and PreK! We are ready for another great night and look forward to seeing everyone! #teamAES
