BASEBALL REMINDER
Charger baseball will be in action at home tomorrow versus Kemper County. We will play at 5 & 7. If anything changes due to weather, we will let you know.

BASKETBALL REMINDER
Girls in grades 7-11 interested in playing basketball next year will have skill work/practice during 4th and 7th periods on March 1st - 4th. Make sure to bring your signed paperwork with you. You must also have a current physical on file.

Choctaw County Archery Team is competing at Louisville Coliseum today in Winston Academy Tournament. There are 9 different schools competing. Go Chargers!!!!



Congratulations to Tylan Carter and Brandon Merritt on be selected to play in the Northeast Mississippi Football Coaches Association All-Star Game!


Culinary Arts 1 students wrapped up their Intro to Baking unit learning how to make rolled sugar cookies. After baking the cookies, they made flooding consistency royal icing to decorate their sugar cookies.


The Sports Medicine students were learning about the anatomy of the body’s upper and lower extremities and how to recognize common athletic injuries by their mechanism of injury and particular signs/symptoms.


Health science students have been learning about the Circulatory System this week. Today, they were studying heart anatomy and terminology.


Mrs. Stirewalt's class finished studying body planes and cavities and directional terms.
The students traced their body then used the drawing to locate their various body cavities and organ structures within these body cavities.





The 5th grade students in Mrs Utley’s PACE class at Ackerman Elementary watched NASA’s landing of the Perseverance Rover on Mars in class and used what they learned to make their own soft landings for their “Mars Rovers” in a STEM project about shock absorbers and gravity. Creativity and sunshine make for a FUN DAY!! #teamAES

FCE Kindergarten have enjoyed listening to stories being read to them by the big kids!


FCE 5th graders enjoyed a fraction activity involving basketball. Students made their own fractions based on points scored, combined fractions with unlike denominators, practiced using benchmark fractions for comparing, and made a human line plot.
