WES library received fifty copies of the book Pay It Forward written by Catherine Ryan Hyde. We are thankful for this donation from The Pay It Forward Foundation. The books will be used for teaching positive character lessons to our students.

French Camp Elementary School's August Little Chargers have started this year off so well. They have been working very hard academically and are also showing good character in and out of the classroom. August Little Chargers are: Reagan McCoy, Collin Hooten, Lawson Bradford, Kinley Watkins, Sam Chesteen, Elly Geiser, Miley Steadman, Bethany Rabun, Nora June Cates, J J Ferguson, Logan Steadman, Jackson Rushing, Sadie Meyer, Eden Martin, and Bentley Steadman.

Forty-eight years after it was written, Maya Angelou's poem, "Still I Rise," continues to inspire others. English II students borrowed Angelou's structure to compose their own poetry about responding to and overcoming adversity in Mrs. Goff's class. #GoChargers!
