A special thanks to Dena Kelly, Volunteer Coordinator with Legacy Hospice, who came to speak to all Health Science Core, Healthcare and Clinical Science, and Sports Medicine classes. The students enjoyed hearing about how they can volunteer in the community.

FCE students enjoyed Popsicles with the Principal. Around here, we think Mr. Burton is pretty great, especially when he passes out popsicles to celebrate a great start to the new school year.

Mrs. Jackie from the MS Museum of Natural Science came to visit FCE pre-K and kindergarten to wrap up the alligator unit. The students were even able to touch the alligator!

Mrs. Telano’s students are working on self-love! They are writing about what THEY think is the best part of themselves. This activity is sure to help students gain confidence and appreciation for what’s unique about them.
