Kindergarten students were playing on the playground when the garbage truck was on its long stretch of backing up to the bins. Jace Latham ran the length of the fence and motioned for the truck to back up. Pictured are Jace and his friends with truck driver, Cory Burton.

Ackerman Elementary School would like to thank Mrs. Brandy from the Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society for visiting classes throughout the school. She shared lots of information and facts and brought two friends (Jimmy and Emma) to visit students! #teamAES
