Culinary Arts I students have been working on proper measurement techniques. They learned how to measure dry and liquid ingredients as well as how to weight ingredients for the most accurate measurement. Students enjoyed making Mexican cornbread, tacos, and fudge to practice.

WES Junior Beta Club has planned a canned food drive. The food drive will last from November 1st-16th. All students are encouraged to participate. The class that has the most cans at the end of the food drive will have a pizza party. Anybody can participate by dropping donations off at Weir Elementary School during regular school hours November 1st through November 16th. All donations will be delivered to Broken Wings Ministry. This is a small and simple way to have a big impact right here in our own community. The students and staff at Weir Elementary School welcome your support in this effort to help those in need.
