Mrs. Christi's fifth and sixth-grade PACE students at Ackerman Elementary School got to select a topic and research it. They then had to create a presentation about their topics with props. Props could be models, timelines, paintings, etc. They enjoyed sharing their learning with their families and classmates. #teamAES

It’s State Test season at WES. As we begin testing here are some tips to ensure your child is ready for test days:
-Get a good nights sleep during testing weeks.
-If your child doesn’t eat at school, be sure they eat a healthy breakfast at home.
-Make sure your child is present and on time in test days.
-Give lots of hugs and encouragement!

PreK students at Ackerman Elementary have been learning about insects the last few weeks. They also learned about the butterfly life cycle. The students watched caterpillars make chrysalises and turn into beautiful butterflies. They released the butterflies today! Part 1 #teamAES
