2nd Grade Weir Students had the opportunity to see how LEGOs intervened in a real-life situation for a sea turtle. After reading about how LEGOs saved the sea turtle's flippers, the students designed a wheelchair out of LEGOs for the class plastic sea turtle. After that students were allowed to free-build, but they had to present their design and paperwork to their teacher.
