Choctaw County High School Seniors attended the Golden Triangle Regional College Fair at Mississippi State University on Thursday.

FCE kindergarten had a blast at the Mississippi State University Entomology Museum.

Fifth graders at FCE worked together on September 11th by the numbers. They learned interesting facts about that day through Math. 

"This is a day that will live in history, Sept 11" representations by second, third, and fourth grade PACE students at French Camp Elementary.

Ackerman Elementary School will have a pajama day on Tuesday, September 16th. Students and staff may wear pajamas for $1. #teamAES

Mrs. White and Ms. Cork taught their PreK students how to spell their names and highlight similarities and differences with the length of their name and the letters in their name. They used words such as more, less, most, and least. Students also focused on sorting paint colors through play with paint samples based upon their story of the week "Peter's Chair."

In Mrs. Hunt's ELA classes, we honored 9/11 today with a look at the original World Trade photos shared by Mrs. Douglas.

Today, Mrs. Chamblee's 5th grade PACE students at Ackerman Elementary School listened to the book “The Man who Walked Between Two Towers”, discussed the life of Philippe Petit, and events of 9/11. Students were challenged in participating in a STEM Tallest Tower challenge. They had to work together to discuss, plan, and implement their own tower creation. #teamAES

Today in library, Mrs. Rogers taught her students at Ackerman Elementary School about the events of 9/11 by reading books, discussing what events took place that day, and coloring images of the memorial! #teamAES

Today, Mrs. Alexander had each music class at Ackerman Elementary School watch an educational clip, sing a tribute song, and work together to create a collaborative poster in remembrance of 9/11. #teamAES

Mrs. Burdine and Ms. Sanders's students at Ackerman Elementary School listened to the book "This Very Tree" and learned about the events of 9/11. #teamAES
