Today, Mrs. Chamblee's 5th grade PACE students at Ackerman Elementary School listened to the book “The Man who Walked Between Two Towers”, discussed the life of Philippe Petit, and events of 9/11. Students were challenged in participating in a STEM Tallest Tower challenge. They had to work together to discuss, plan, and implement their own tower creation. #teamAES








Today in library, Mrs. Rogers taught her students at Ackerman Elementary School about the events of 9/11 by reading books, discussing what events took place that day, and coloring images of the memorial! #teamAES








Today, Mrs. Alexander had each music class at Ackerman Elementary School watch an educational clip, sing a tribute song, and work together to create a collaborative poster in remembrance of 9/11. #teamAES
