Culinary Arts I students learned about standardized recipes. A standardized recipe is important in the foodservice industry because it ensures consistency. Students practiced putting Halloween recipes into a standardized recipe format and enjoyed making their recipes today. Students made cinnamon rolls, rotel, pizza, chicken wings, and brookies (brownie and cookie bar) in first block. Third block made dragon blood punch, corn dip, jalapeño poppers, and Oreo ice cream cake.
