Culinary Arts students learned about entry-level jobs and career opportunities in the foodservice and hospitality industry. Mrs. Fondren introduced students to a variety of Mississippi chefs that have found great success in the restaurant and foodservice industry. Since all lessons are learned best when eaten, she shared a recent food demonstration Mississippi chef and cookbook author, Elizabeth Heiskell, demonstrated on The Today Show. Students enjoyed trying Mrs. Heiskell's Blueberry French Toast Casserole.
