Culinary Arts I students learned about the different varieties of fruits and the criteria for purchasing and storing them. They also applied a variety of cooking techniques when preparing fried banana fritters, poached pears with chocolate sauce, fruit salsa with homemade cinnamon tortilla cups, and fresh fruit pizza.
